Shariq Patel, CBO, Zee Studios, added, "'We are thrilled that 'Joram' continues to garner mass appeal in the international circuit. The film continues to strike resonance with the global audience due to  Manoj Bajpayee's innate craft and Devashish's exemplary vision. The turnout at the Sydney Film Festival was huge and the response the film received was simply enthralling."

Manoj Bajpayee further added, "Joram's journey in the international circuit has been euphoric. It proves that films made earnestly transcend all boundaries. I am very glad that Zee Studios and Devashish Makhija have been instrumental in bringing such a heartwarming tale to the silver screens. Am elated over the response that we have received at the Sydney Film Festival. It is very encouraging."

Devashish Makhija, writer-director, added, "'Joram' is a survival thriller of a father moving worlds to protect his infant daughter. It explores the multiple themes of deforestation, forced displacement, and socio-economic inequity, amongst many others. It is very moving to see the incredible global appeal our film is displaying, with back-to-back international premieres, that too in the Main Competition each time. We are really grateful for all the love and the rapturous response that we received at the Sydney Film Festival."

'Joram' stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Smita Tambe, and Megha Mathur in pivotal roles, and Tannishtha Chatterjee and Rajshri Deshpande in special appearances. The persuasive psychological thriller has also previously been a part of the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) and shall also be screened at the upcoming Durban International Film Festival.
