Noted actor Monaz Mevawala enters Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya as Senorita Kapoor; to plan Harshad’s high-society Diwali party
Sony SAB’s ‘Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey’ revolves around the life of a middle-class family, providing a thought-provoking look at the challenges and experiences they face in their daily lives. In recent episodes, the Wagles did a 15-hour experiment to live together under the same roof. However, clashes surfaced, and the family realised that the journey to harmoniously coexist has its hurdles, and they have a long way to go.
In the upcoming episodes, viewers are in for a treat with the introduction of a new character, Senorita Kapoor, played by the talented Monaz Mevawala. She enters as an event planner hired by Harshad (Amit Soni) to organise a high-society Diwali party. However, her advice leads to Rajesh (Sumeet Ragahavan), Dakku (Deepak Pareek) and the Wagle family not being invited, deemed unsuitable to attend a page 3 party due to their middle-class status. The narrative takes an intriguing turn as the audience wonder if Harshad will invite his closest friends to the high society party?
Monaz Mevawala, who will be essaying the role of Senorita Kapoor, said, "Having previously worked on a Sony SAB project and now becoming a part of the Wagle family as well, has been an absolute delight. Senorita Kapoor, my character, adds a unique flavor to the storyline, and bringing her to life for this Diwali sequence has been a thrilling experience. Harshad’s Diwali party is set to be the centre of numerous twists and turns, promising an engaging narrative that viewers won't want to miss."
