On October 10th, World Mental Health Day is observed to raise awareness about mental health issues. &TV actors urge everyone to make mental well-being a top priority and share insights on maintaining a sound mental state. Among those sharing their tips are Mohit Dagga (Ashok, Doosri Maa), Geetanjali Mishra (Rajesh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan), and Vidisha Srivastava (Anita Bhabi, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai). Mohit Dagga, aka Ashok from Doosri Maa, shares, “There was a time when I faced body shaming, which left me feel anxious, angry, and depressed. To heal, I embraced self-love as a way of life, which has helped me find inner peace. I started practicing meditation and reading to nurture my mental well-being. Meditation is my means to get closer to a higher power and establish a profound connection, making it an integral part of my daily routine. I dedicate a significant amount of time to meditation, whether at home or on set, as it helps me being strong and focused, leading to a more productive life. I firmly believe in being true to yourself to find happiness. Wishing everyone a Happy Mental Health Day."

Geetanjali Mishra, Rajesh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, “Fitness transcends mere physical appearance; it's about cultivating inner strength and nurturing a peaceful mind. Undoubtedly, a healthy mind is the foundation of strong physical well-being. Unfortunately, mental health is often underestimated compared to physical health. Many people disregard its indicators and don’t seek help due to fear, or shame, and this mindset needs to evolve. In our fast-paced lives, it's crucial to slow down at times. I have incorporated the practice of controlled breathing and meditation into my daily routine. It helps me maintain focus, infuses positivity, and alleviates stress. It's the ultimate tool that has enabled me to tackle various challenges while remaining hopeful. On this World Mental Health Day, let's commit to caring for those around us and attentively observing any shifts in their behaviour.” Vidisha Srivastava, Anita Bhabi from Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “I strive to strike a healthy work-life balance to prevent overexertion. Activities like yoga, diving into a good book or enjoying a movie helps me to escape from the stresses of life. I am committed to practising yoga and indulging in reading to uphold my mental well-being. Prioritizing mental health not only boosts productivity but also enhances self-esteem and enriches relationships. It's a holistic approach that contributes to overall well-being."
