Navratri festivities are in full swing nationwide, and the thrill of dancing to Garba songs in vibrant attire while ensuring you look your best at the venue can indeed pose a challenge. That is why the leading ladies of &TV offer a glimpse into their festive wardrobes and share some tricks and tips to elevate your style this Navratri. These include Manisha Arora (Mahua, Doosri Maa), Geetanjali Mishra (Rajesh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan) and Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabi, Bhabiji Ghar Par hai). Manisha Arora, aka Mahua from Doosri Maa, shares, "I find Indian attire, such as a chaniya choli, to be the perfect choice for showcasing your dance moves. Adding mirror work to the outfit enhances both the dress and the overall look, making it an apt choice to wear during Navaratri. Stylish Indo-western outfits, in my opinion, bring out elegance and a special charm to my personality. Moreover, this fusion style offers limitless possibilities for combining and experimenting with various outfit styles. This year, I plan to pair a stylish halter or turtleneck crop top with an elegant sharara for a refined and chic appearance. Additionally, opting for a kurta with dhoti-style pyjamas not only looks great but also ensures comfort during play, without the inconvenience of heavy lehengas or sarees."

Geetanjali Mishra, aka Rajesh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, “In this series on Navratri colours, I like to colour code all these nine days. Along with the rituals, fasting and festive mood, I somehow manage to take time to get decked up every day in a particular colour. During the Dandiya night, I seize the opportunity to showcase traditional elegance with a touch of style. I firmly believe that while creating this timeless look, it is crucial to select the right fabrics and trending colour combinations. Whether it's a Ghagra choli adorned with intricate mirror work or a simple black or white kurta paired with a bandhani dupatta and Kamar patta, I strive to evoke the perfect festive vibe. Experimenting with my outfits during this season is something I truly cherish. I also believe that accessorizing my attire thoughtfully can elevate my look. I plan to pair my traditional jewellery, including jhumkas, bangles, and necklaces, to complement my outfits. This is the ideal time for me to mix and match my collection, aiming for a graceful appearance.” Shubhangi Atre, aka Angoori Bhabi from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “The fundamental idea behind a Garba dress is to adorn oneself in vibrant and colorful ensembles. Personally, for my character Angoori and myself, the traditional Chanya Choli is a timeless and classic choice. This ensemble features a flared skirt paired with a matching blouse and a dupatta, all adorned with vibrant hues and authentic embroidery. Complement this look with a maang tika, jingling bangles, a necklace, and jhumkas, and add a touch of makeup. Lately, I have developed special interest in Patola sarees. These intricately woven silk sarees boast a dazzling array of colours and captivating patterns. When draped in the Gujarati style, they make you ready to twirl and move with grace. Believe me, the perfect Navratri outfit serves as your ticket to a night brimming with dance, laughter, and memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. So, enjoy the Dandiya nights, and here's wishing a joyous Navratri to all!
