India vs NewZealand |
ND vs NZ Dream11: India vs New Zealand 3rd ODI – With another
ODI series secured, India will square off against New Zealand in the third and
final encounter of the ODI series on Tuesday in Indore, January 24.
With a series
sweep in sight, the middle order will be eager to give a better performance of
themselves as the Indian team management thinks rotating its bowlers in the
third and final ODI against New Zealand in Indore on Tuesday.
Shubman Gill, the opener, has been in outstanding form, scoring
a spectacular double hundred in the first ODI and then a 40-run knock in the
second ODI's low-scoring contest. Rohit Sharma, the captain, is also performing
well.
The home
squad is aware that Shubman and Rohit have been the only batsmen to score runs
for the hosts despite holding a commanding 2-0 series lead.
The other
players haven't been tried, so the dead rubber will be the ideal chance for
players like Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, and Suryakumar Yadav to get some
game-like batting practise.
The
talismanic hitter has been frequently dismissed by Mitchell Santner,
highlighting Kohli's issue with left-arm spin.
The former captain was bowled cheaply in both ODIs despite scoring three
hundreds in four innings, as New Zealand's top left-arm spinner breached
Kohli's defences. Just months out from the World Cup, Kohli would be eager for
some much-needed course correction.
Suryakumar
was supposed to give some firepower at the back end in Shreyas Iyer's absence.
However, in
the series opener, the top T20 batter was unable to accomplish
that. Hardik has also struggled recently with the bat. He struggled in his
series against Sri Lanka, and he hasn't performed well yet against New Zealand.
The team
management may be tempted to rest players and give Rajat Patidar, who was
recruited to the squad as a replacement for the injured Iyer, a debut with the
T20 matches scheduled for later this week and the crucial Australia series set
to start next month.
Umran Malik, an express pacer, might return to the team, and Yuzvendra Chahal, a leg-spinner, could take Kuldeep Yadav's place in the bowling attack.
