Shrenu Parikh, Genda Agarwal from &TV's Ghar Ek Mandir - Kripa Agrasen Maharaja Ki says, "It is a human tendency to realise the importance of things when they get deprived of it. And experiencing lockdown and the pandemic has taught me so much about Independence. Since childhood, I have always felt free as I had a supportive family and no restrictions. But these trying times made me realise that being truly independent meant being self-reliant. From helping my family sail through these tough times to holding myself together, now I can proudly say I have become much more self-reliant than I ever was.
Happy Independence Day to one and all!"Akshay Mhatre, Varun Agarwal from &TVs Ghar Ek Mandir - Kripa Agrasen Maharaja Ki shares, "Freedom is a way of thinking and understanding the world around us, and each person understands it in their way. Of course, all of us have our understanding of it. Freedom of any kind is a privilege.
Independence, for me, is about being self-reliant and having the resources to lead a life of dignity. I am glad to have a supportive family that supports my dreams and aspirations and has helped me achieve my goals.” Siddharth Arora, Lord Shiv from &TV's Bal Shiv, says, "Freedom to me is being able to pursue one's own happiness. In this era of cat race people don't understand what gives them happiness, real freedom is understanding and pursuing that happiness.” Pawan Singh, Zafar Ali Mirza from &TV's Aur Bhai Kya Cha Raha Hai?, says, "While India got its Independence in 1947, I got my Independence early on in 2013. After a lot of struggle, I decided to move out of my home to pursue further studies alongside fulfilling my dream of becoming an actor. It made me realise that our thoughts limit us.
Once you overcome the initial tussle, everything seems easy and possible. That freedom is bliss.” Akansha Sharma, Sakina Mirza from &TV's Aur Bhai Kya Cha Raha Hai? shares, "Freedom to me is the ability to be yourself in your truest form. It is about being able to make your own choices and take control of your life. It is about living your truth - to be you, openly and honestly. I am blessed to have a supportive family that has allowed me to live my life on my terms and be myself.”
