Mizo Zirlai Pawl, a student body of Mizoram, has filed an FIR at Vairengte police station in Mizoram against Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and six others in connection with the border flare-up on Monday.

As many as 200 unidentified Assam Police personnel have also been booked. Among the charges against Himanta and others are IPC sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 120B (criminal conspiracy).
Assam MLAs to take Mizoram SP to court
Meanwhile, the MLAs of three Barak valley districts of Assam on Friday decided to move court against the SP of Mizoram’s Kolasib district for his alleged role in the clash between police forces of the two states.
An all-party meeting of MLAs of Cachar, Karimganj and Hailakandi was held at Silchar amd it was decided that action should also be taken against Mizoram’s lone Rajya Sabha MP K Vanlalvena for his statement outside Parliament.
