While ruling out any differences in the Maha Vikas Aghadi over the Chief Minister's post, Shiv Sena leader and MP Sanjay Raut on Sunday clarified that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will serve a full term and others should not worry about it.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Raut, who is currently on a tour of Nashik to strengthen the party in North Maharashtra, asserted that there are no differences in the alliance government and said the Chief Minister's post will remain with the Shiv Sena for full five years even if the opposition was playing any kind of politics over it.
He said that the contribution of North Maharashtra, including Nashik, along with its strongholds Mumbai and Konkan, was important in Maharashtra's politics.
With this in mind, the work was currently underway to increase the party base in North Maharashtra, he said and informed that there was a good response from Shiv Sainiks and people alike in almost all the districts.
Mr Raut also clarified that since the Municipal elections are just a year away, a decision on the same will be taken in next one or two days.
On Maratha reservation issue, the Sena MP said that since the decision on reservation is in Parliament, if the Maratha agitators want to take out a 'morcha', it should be taken out in Delhi.
