BJP Will Return to Power in Assam

Peppy after the Bharatiya Janata Party's striking presentation in two self-ruling board decisions - Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) and the Tiwa Autonomous Council (TAC) - party public boss Jagat Prakash Nadda on Monday asserted that the BJP planned to win in excess of 100 seats in the impending Assam Assembly surveys that are booked to be held in April-May 2021. Nadda is on a two-day visit to the state to take an interest in different significant gatherings and public meetings.

Tending to a meeting in Silchar in Barak Valley, Nadda stated, "This Valley is consistently vital for us since this spot consistently honored us entire heartedly. We recollect that in 1991 because of individuals' help, Barak Valley was one of the primary locales to keep trust in the BJP. At that point, we got 9 MLAs and 2 MPs from this valley."

With 40 seats, BTC is an independent body under the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution and comprises of Udalguri, Chirang, Baksa, and Kokrajhar areas, while TAC is a legal self-governing board which establishes under the State Act. The TAC involves Morigaon, Hojai, Nagaon, and parts of Kamrup.

Featuring how BJP, under the authority of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, figured out how to determine the Bodo and Bru-Reang emergency, Nadda stated, "These emergencies were hanging for almost 50 decades and in excess of 4,000 individuals (during Bodo development) lost their lives. Nobody figured out how to determine the issues. In any case, it was PM Modi's constant endeavors now that both the emergencies have been settled. Not just that the Central government has given more than Rs 2,000 crore for the government assistance of Bodo and Bru-Reang."
