Assam Assembly Elections: Regional parties AJP, Raijor Dal inch closer to the alliance

Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) and Raijor Dal (RD), two regional events fashioned final year, are inching nearer to a pre-poll alliance for the meeting elections due April-May this year.


Both the events are offshoots of the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protests that rocked the kingdom in December 2019 and claimed 5 lives.
