Kupwara: As snowfall has disrupted normal life in Kashmir valley, Army troops carried a pregnant woman for two kilometres in knee-deep snow to help her reach the hospital. The woman gave birth to a baby boy at Karalpura hospital, sources said on Friday.

Around 11:30 pm on Tuesday, the Company Operating Base (COB) of the Indian Army at Karalpura in Kupwara received a distress call from Manzoor Ahmed Sheikh who lives in Pharkian village.
