The young and talented child artist, Vivaan Shah, who has been a part of notable films and television shows is roped in to portray the lead role of ‘Yeshu’ in &TV’s next. Vivaan will be seen in the lead role along with Sonali Nikam (Mary) and Aarya Dharmchand (Joseph) playing a pivotal role in inculcating the right values in him. Says Vivaan, “I am very excited and honoured to be chosen to play a lead role and that too of ‘Yeshu’. He is an exceptionally benevolent young boy who wants to help everyone around him but often condemned. Unaware of his powers and purpose, Yeshu is nurtured and guided to his life purpose by his mother, narrating stories of his birth. Having profound knowledge and understanding of spirituality and religion during the growing up years shapes Yeshu’s core beliefs, which emphasise love, compassion, forgiveness, and peace as the righteous ways of life.”

Vivaan will be seen portraying the lead role as Yeshu along with Sonali Nikam as Mary, and Aarya Dharmchand as Joseph.

&TV is presenting for the first time in Hindi GEC, the untold, unheard story of ‘Yeshu’, produced by Arvind Babbal Productions Pvt Ltd. ‘Yeshu’ is a story of an exceptionally benevolent child who only wants to do good and spread happiness all around him. His love and compassion for all in stark contrast to the dark, evil forces prevalent during his birth and childhood. Witnessing the various atrocities on his family and in society has a deep impact on him. His attempt to help others and ease their pain often leads to situations where he inevitably ends up being hurt and condemned by not just the oppressors but also the people at large. But even that does not stop Yeshu from continuing his path. It is not only the most iconic story of good versus evil, but it also captures the beautiful relationship between Yeshu and his support and guide - his mother.
