Apple Event: Apple announces M1 based products, curtain lifted from new MacBook Air, Mac Mini

                                                             

Apple today organized its third product launch event. It launched Apple’s first Mac chip. Three new Mac models have been announced at the event including the MacBook Air which is Apple’s notebook. With this, a 13-inch MacBook Pro and a new Mac Mini M1 have been launched with the Apple Silicon chip. Let’s know which products have been introduced in Apple’s event.

Apple’s first Mac chip: M1

Apple has announced its processor for Mac, which is called M1. The new ARM-based Apple Silicon processor is power-on-watt focused and the company claims that the M1 chip is the most effective chip in the market. It is based on a 5 nanometer processor. Apple has integrated the graphics processor designed by Apple within the chip. The tech company said that developers can build applications that work with both Intel-based and M1-based Macs. Major developers such as Adobe have also started working on a plan to build many apps for M1 based Macs. iPhone apps can work with Macs.

New MacBook Air

During this event, Apple also announced a new MacBook Air that comes with M1 chipset. Apple stated that the new MacBook Air has better performance, up to 18 hours of battery life. The new MacBook Air has a new design. Its price starts from Rs 92,900.

New Mac Mini

With this, Apple announced the new Mac Mini which comes with the same M1 processor. The new Mac Mini has up to three times faster CPU performance and up to 6 times better graphics. The updated Mac Mini has the same design as the original but has changes from inside. It has two USB ports that support Thunderbolt and USB 4. The price of the new Mac Mini starts at Rs 64,900.

Updated 13-inch MacBook Pro

An all new MacBook Pro has also been introduced at the event. It has been designed keeping in mind the native and professional users. The Apple M1 chip features a MacBook Pro with 17 hours of battery life and 20 hours of video playback, which is the longest battery on the Mac. Apple said that its 8 core CPU gives 2.8 times faster performance than the previous generation 13 inch MacBook Pro. The new MacBook Pro has two USB ports that support USB 4 and Thunderbolt 4. It also has a better webcam and microphone. Its price will start from Rs 122,900.
