World champ PV Sindhu quits Olympic camp due to 'personal reasons,' lands in London.

Badminton participant PV Sindhu has left the ongoing camp for both Olympic and has left for London. She has written a letter to the Badminton Association of India and her coach, saying that she'll complete her recovery and nourishment in the next two months and return.

Her Instagram accounts said on Monday that she had traveled into the UK to work on her recovery and nutrition. Sources said she's been in the united kingdom for Ten or more days today.

Apart from being odd for a top Olympic medal hopeful of making a national camp midway, this is the first time the 25-year-old has traveled overseas without being  followed by her parents. Sources said that she's being monitored by a team of specialists, such as Rebecca Randell of the Gatorade Sports Science Institute. The former world No.2 is predicted to be in the UK for the next two months.

Sindhu Has left the country in a huff, apparently after tensions in her family. Before she left Hyderabad, Sindhu advised the coaches at the Pullela Gopichand Academy she won't return to India for the next eight to ten weeks.

While Sindhu could not be contacted on her phone, her father, P V Ramana, didn't accept calls or reply to messages.  "She had been angry with a couple things." She is unlikely to return anytime soon. At this phase of her life, she wishes to be on her own rather than be controlled. Maybe being at home during the lockdown took its toll, and she wanted some liberty.  We hope she enjoys the break and comes back". It is  Also learnt that Sindhu will soon start training together with the England team. "She will Train with all the English gamers for a while. Otherwise, her match could be affected.

On Monday, Sindhu tweeted: "Happy to be in England and working with GSSI over  The next few weeks in my nutrition and retrieval using @rrandell86! Three months To Asia tour  And this is the best opportunity to work on this and enhance!!"
