Dinesh Karthik Hands Over KKR Captaincy To Eoin Morgan 
Dinesh Karthik has Stopped as Kolkata Knight Riders captain with England's limited-overs skipper Eoin Morgan taking over the responsibility, Dinesh Karthik has decided to hand over the Kolkata Knight Riders captaincy into England's limited-overs skipper Eoin Morgan, the franchise, announced on their site on Friday.

 According to the site, Dinesh Karthik decided to focus on his batting and"contributing more to the group's cause." The KKR management thanked Karthik for his contributions as captain"over the previous two and a half years" and desired Eoin Morgan the best awaits. 

 Kolkata Knight Riders will be seen in action on Friday when they take on defending champions Mumbai Indians in the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium at Abu Dhabi.  "We're fortunate to Have leaders such as DK, who has always put the team first. It requires a whole lot of guts for someone like him to choose a decision like this. While we were surprised by his decision, we are respectful of his fantasies. We're also blessed that Eoin Morgan, the 2019 World Cup-winning captain, that has become the vice-captain is prepared to lead the side going forward,"
                                                       

 Venky Mysore, CEO of KKR, was quoted as saying on the official site.  "DK and Eoin have  Worked brilliantly together during this tournament, and though Eoin takes over as captain, that is effectively a part swap. We expect that this transition will probably work seamlessly," he added. 

Assignment as the captain doesn't get much more challenging than the task at hand with KKR facing an in-form Mumbai Indians team later now.  KKR have blown hot and cold

This season and Morgan will be tasked with bringing more consistency to the group's performance.   However, They've lost two of their last four games, with the team's inconsistencies coming to the fore.
