A 4.9-magnitude earthquake hit Sikkim today morning.
It recorded 170kms North West of Yuksum, West Sikkim. No aftereffects have been reported so far.
‘ Latitude 28.75 and Longitude 87.45 with depth 151km have been recorded by Xizang,China.’
The quake hit 9 kilometres south of the state's capital, Gangtok, at 3:12 am, according to USGS. There are no reports of any damage or casualties yet.
